Alice has started dance class and she is loving it!!!
she can't remember all the new moves that she is learning but she is having a good time. She is also attending preschool once a week on wednesdays. Elliott is doing better he has gained 8 ounces since his last doctor visit. In addition he will eat some solid foods now like crackers, cheetos, bread rolls. We still worry about him because he currenlty has residual chewing issues, and he doesn't take enough fluids in from his sippy cups so mom is still breast feeding him to help meet his demands.
Alyson has interviewed at boise state for a teaching position, i'll keep everyone posted if we hear anything.

Hi Family- I'm a scrapbooker ya'll
Wow, it's been awhile since I got on here. But, I have a life, what can I say? I've recently decided I don't want to waste my life watching T.V. I'm realizing my life has become one very long boring Trailer. So, I've been scrapbooking and trying to "create". I was watching the relief society broadcast when I decided it's time to use my brane! So, I've included some dull pictures of my last project. I was so proud!! It took me forever! I gave it to Donna and Dennis (Jer's parents) for their 40 year anniversary. (the porda-potty pic is my favorite) My sister-in-law is putting together a scrapbook for them. This weekend, I'm going to try and enlarge my wedding photos. I need to get those in a book. Hopefully the Wedding Gods will have mercy on me... and the pics will turn out perfect. I miss all of you terribly!!

It's been awhile...
Well...I thought I would give you guys an update on how things are going. This past weekend was interesting because our wonderful TV decided to punish us for not fixing it sooner. We have a projection TV and ever since we moved into our apartment last year, we have had a problem with our blue convergence. Well we have gone a whole year "dealing" with the problem and our red convergence decided to chip in. That gave us the incentive to try and get it fixed, but it kept being pushed to the side. I know you guys all know how that is. Well, Friday the TV just decided to stop turning on. Yep that's right. We turn it on and two seconds later it turns off, so it's probably a bulb issue. Needless to say, it's at the repair shop and depending how much it costs, we may just end up buying a new TV, but we really don't want to. On top of that, John hurt his back really bad playing basketball last week, so we went to the doctor who put him on serious pain meds, which knocked him out almost the entire weekend. Other then that, we are doing pretty well. Just dealing with everything as it comes one day at a time. :)

Kirk's quandary
Kirk, Jess just told me about your recent decision to vote for Obama because of McCain's choice of Sara Palin as his running mate. She also mentioned that you agree that the government should not be bailing everyone out. I mean, who's next Ford? General Motors? Professional Boxing?
Seriously though, as the country starts moving towards a socialist society and Obama looks more and more like the next President, I hope you think of what you're doing. If you were a flaming liberal environmentalist that embraced communism, then I would abandon the fight to save a lost soul. However, I know you are not. You embrace a free market, you're a proud gun owner (at least you were a proud gun owner), and you drive a Porcshe versus a Prius.
You might want to do a double take on Obama's economic plan. He wants to eliminate taxes on the poor, cut taxes on the middle class, raise taxes on everyone making $250,000 and up, raise capital gains and dividends taxes, and raise taxes on businesses. Uh, did I mention he wants government run health care and college for everyone that wants to go. How in the world is he going to pay for such programs? Dentists and doctors will pay for it.
So, you may be scared of a little old beauty queen who doesn't know the difference between Iraq and Iran but at least she's not a rabid anti-dentite!!
